Inside Action

Activity on the interior of the new church yesterday:

 Scissor lift in front of choir loft

 Right transept work

Stained glass window openings

Looking into a shrine

Look straight ahead in this photo and you will see the framed shrine area with two smaller arched windows above.  The church will have four shrine areas framing the transepts and nave.  The transepts are the side wings and the nave is the main body of the church.

While the exterior may look fairly calm....

There is a lot of interior work underway!  This shot is taken from the entrance to the sanctuary.  Note the steel arches and the cupola in the ceiling.
